Only apps that appear in the Dock are listed in the Force Quit window (\uf8ff > Force Quit). If you disabled the option to <a data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2102\" href=\"https:\/\/desairem.com\/wordpress\/synctime-how-can-i-hide-the-dock-icon-or-status-item\/\">show SyncTime in the Dock<\/a>, in order to force quit it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Activity Monitor app (from <code>\/Applications\/Utilities<\/code>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type the name of the app in the search field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Terminate button with a cross icon in the toolbar and confirm the alert dialog that appears afterwards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2268\" height=\"511\" src=\"https:\/\/desairem.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/activity-monitor.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5293\" style=\"width:1134px\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By default, SyncTime appears both in the Dock and as a Menu Bar icon.
